Stop Smoking Service

Children & Young People’s Smokefree Service

The Children & Young People's Smokefree Service is delivered by the Smokefree Schools Team at Zest. We are contracted to deliver the service by Sheffield City Council’s Place Public Health Team. We work in partnership with Smokefree providers across the city. www.smokefreesheffield.org

The aim of the service is to promote a Smokefree generation by working in partnership with Secondary Schools across Sheffield to promote Smokefree as the norm. The Smokefree Children & Young People’s Service delivers the following programmes:-

Smokefree Schools Programme– This programme is open to all Sheffield Secondary Schools. We provide training, policy support, lessons, assemblies and support to staff, parents and carers through a whole school approach. The programme trains Peer Educators to deliver Smokefree messages and influences at school though our ASDAN certificated programme.
