Exercise and Cancer Rehabilitation Service

Zest is now one of a small number of centres in Sheffield with qualified personnel to offer clients the Exercise and Cancer Rehabilitation Service.

Have you been diagnosed with cancer?  Are you struggling to be physically active?  We can support you at any stage of your cancer care to be more active.  There is evidence that exercise can be beneficial for people at any stage of cancer care.

Exercise can help you to feel better, feel less tired and may also reduce the risk of further disease.

We can help you plan ways to start or stay active that best suit your individual needs and interests. This may be daily activities such as dog walking, joining an exercise class, or taking up new sports.  We can provide you with a one-to-one programme tailored to your needs and personal circumstances.

Our Exercise Referral Co-ordinator, Jean Kirby has successfully completed the Level 4 Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation course. This means she has the knowledge and experience to understand how you may be feeling and support you.

Zest is now one of a small number of centres in Sheffield with qualified personnel to offer clients the Exercise and Cancer Rehabilitation Service.  We are part of the Active Every Day Programme developed by Macmillan Cancer Support and Move More Sheffield.
