Zest community café volunteers.

Our cafe is at the very heart of our centre and is really important to us.  We are looking for people to help us run our community café and provide a vibrant, welcoming space for the community?

Our coordinator is working on an exciting new menu and although we already have a number of volunteers we are looking for a few more volunteers to help with every aspect of the café and kitchen including:

• Food preparation each day
• Cooking and baking
• Serving food and drinks
• Using the till
• Cleaning the kitchen and café area
• Washing up and tidying
• Providing a warm welcome and friendly face
• Assisting with menu ideas and development

We welcome all support but are particularly seeking people who can support the café as a regular commitment and for at least 3hours in a row.

As the café is operating commercially, the opportunity will provide excellent work based experience in a café and kitchen environment. Volunteers will be able to gain experience using the till and will receive health and hygiene and allergens training .
