Volunteers are vital to Zest and we take great pride in being able to offer quality volunteer placements.

Zest community café front of house

We are looking for confident volunteers who will greet customers will a smile!

Volunteers will take the lead role in front of house, being the 'face' of the café, greeting customers, taking orders and passing them to the kitchen, taking money and most importantly being friendly and welcoming. You will form part of our cafe team, working with volunteers in the kitchen and Lena, our cafe coordinator.
Volunteers need to feel confident and able to deal with a lunchtime rush and give an excellent level of customer service at all times.

We welcome all support but are particularly seeking people who can support the café as a regular commitment and for at least 3hours in a row.

As the café is operating commercially, the opportunity will provide excellent work based experience in a café and kitchen environment. .
