Code of Conduct
We would like everyone to be able to enjoy our facilities. We hope that following this simple Code of Conduct will help to make everyone’s visit more pleasurable.
Be considerate
Everyone using our services must be considerate of the needs of other users.
Be courteous and respectful
All users of Zest must treat staff and fellow users with courtesy and respect, recognizing that the facilities are used by people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures.
Look after our property:
Leave all areas clean, tidy and free from damage.
Behave appropriately
The following behaviours will not be tolerated towards staff, fellow users and volunteers and will result in disciplinary procedures:
Discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, religion or disability
- Physical or verbal intimidation or violence including the use of offensive or discriminatory language;
- Harassment; verbal, physical, or visual.
- Theft or wilful damage to property of Zest, caused by irresponsible behaviour
- Smoking or vaping on the premises.
- Being in possession of, or under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol on Zest premises or grounds.
- Disruptive behaviour.
The Zest Duty Manager on shift is in charge. Should the behaviour of anyone be considered dangerous, inappropriate or in breach of the Code of Conduct, the Duty Manager is authorised to ask them to leave the premises and proceed with disciplinary procedures.
All customers must read this Code of Conduct – if you do not understand any of the points please ask a member of staff who will be happy to explain.
