Zest’s Garden Gathering sessions aim to offer a room outdoor. We offer a relaxed and friendly nature based social group, to support improved wellbeing and resilience, through connection to nature and others, and by engaging in optional mindful garden and craft activities.
From October 2024 sessions will run every Wednesday, whatever the weather, unless there is a risk of dangerous weather conditions. At which point the group will retreat into Zest’s main building for indoor garden related activities. Dress for the weather.
Participants can either drop-in, self-refer or be referred in via a health or community worker.
To refer online, please complete the Outlook form at this link: Green Social Prescribing – Referral Form and Engagement Monitoring (office.com)
Alternatively, download, complete and return the PDF referral form to Health@zestcommunity.co.uk.

Joe’s Wild Garden – Summer 2024
Percy Street CIC have teamed up with Grow Wild Kew to restore a corner of the Peace Garden Park at Zest. The aim is to create a vibrant community space with native British herbs and edibles. Joe’s Wild Garden at Zest is being created by Joe Horne who has attended Percy Street’s Workshops for over a year.
A celebration event happened on Aug 28th 10am-1:30pm (extended Garden Gathering).
Everyone was welcome to contribute their ideas on what could be planted in the garden and enjoy a community picnic.
