This is an amazing successful parenting approach. EPEC is for local parents, led by local parents.
As an EPEC volunteer parent group leader, you will ∗ Receive an amazing free training and support from our local EPEC team. * Learn to lead practical, caring groups for local parents. * Share tried and tested methods that give children the best start in life. * Join a group of like-minded parents to make a difference to your local community. * Develop your skills and confidence. * Gain experience that will help you to fulfil your ambitions.
You will then co deliver Being A Parent groups at Zest and citywide. These groups are also delivered to Parents of Children with ASD, parents of Teens and babies as well as for co parents supporting parents to work together.
All volunteers will be provided with training and full support from our Parenting Volunteer Manager, Lynn Wragg.
Being A Parent groups run for 2 hours for 8-10 weeks throughout the year. To find out more information or book on email sheffieldparenting@sheffield.gov.uk or telephone 01142057243.
