Zest and volunteers have been running the library since October 2014, keeping this vital community resource open for the public.

Would you like to help us run our groups for children and young people? Do you want to gain some work experience supporting children?
We run a variety of after school and evening activities for children and young people including after school activities, youth clubs and homework support.
We are looking for volunteers to help us deliver our termtime and holiday programme, build positive, encouraging relationships with children and young people and support us to expand our work into the community. You don’t have to have worked with children and young people before but you will need a positive, enthusiastic approach.
We are looking for volunteers to support with the following groups: -

We have some exciting opportunities available for volunteers within the Zest for Work project. We still require volunteers in 3 separate areas, and these placements give a great experience in working with the public as well as looking really good on your cv!

Zest hosts lots of community events throughout the year. Christmas fun days, Summer parties, Eid celebrations and many more. To make these events the best they can be, we need the support of volunteers to;
